Barrington requires that all dog and cat owners get a license for their pets during the month of April.

It’s very easy to do. Just stop by the Town Clerk’s Office in Town Hall during regular business hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Also, if you no longer have a pet, you should notify the Town Clerk’s office as well. Call 247-1900, ext. 4.

Back to rabies.

The town is hosting a rabies clinic in exactly two weeks, Sunday, March 25. It runs from 10 am to noon at the Department of Public Works garage on Upland Way.

Make sure your dog is on a leash. Your cat must be in a carrier.
