Barrington students Samantha Clark and Bastien Y. Andruet participated in Congressman Jim Langevin's Washington, D.C., internship program over the fall semester.
Clark is a junior at The George Washington University, where she is studying History and International Affairs, with a concentration on security policy. In 2013, Clark was one of two Rhode Island Girls Nation Senators to be sent to Washington, D.C. to represent the program.
Andruet is studying for his Master’s degree in Global Governance, Politics, and Security, at American University, and is the former author of the Tunisia Weekly Update at the Project On Middle East Democracy (POMED).

In the D.C. Office, interns experience a variety of tasks, including attending congressional briefings, drafting constituent correspondence, and supporting staff members on various projects.
