Pole Fire & Power Outage
National Grid said 198 customers in Barrington were without power Monday.
BARRINGTON, RI —National Grid said Monday afternoon 198 customers in Barrington were without power. Estimated restoration time was 10 p.m. Monday. Earlier, the fire department reported a telephone pole fire near 47 New Meadow Road. The power company also reported isolated outages in Cranston, West Warwick, Providence, and Pawtucket. The outages affected fewer than five households in each community.
Our members are out with a telephone Pole fire in area of 47 New Meadow Rd. Avoid area road is blocked. Power outages possible.
