BARRINGTON, RI—Here are recent charges from the Barrington police log. The list covers the period from April 24 through April 26. Five people were charged.
April 24
Turell G. Finona Boyd, 23, of Warren, was given a summons at 6:11 p.m. at a traffic stop near the corner of County Road and Waseca Avenue. The charge is Driving with a license (or on an expired license), first offense.

April 26
Carlos A. Ortiz, 28, of West Warwick, was stopped at Forbes Street and the Wampanoag Trail at 1:17 a.m. He was charged with marijuana possession, first offense, and with Driving with a Suspended License, third or subsequent offense.

Andres Martes, 60, of Providence, was stopped at the corner of County Road and the Wampanoag Trail at 7:02 a.m. He was charged with Driving without a license (or on an expired license), third or subsequent offense.
Michael W. Sullivan, 37, of East Providence, was charged with Obtaining money under false pretenses (under $500) in connection with an incident at a business. He turned himself into police the next day.
Brandon Bergeron, 19, of Providence, was stopped around 5:35 p.m. on Middle Highway near St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was given a summons for Driving with a suspended license, first offense.
