Power Restored Everywhere in Barrington

National Grid reports on its RI outage map that all customers have electricity.

Everyone in Barrington should have power restored.

National Grid reported on its RI outage map by the end of the day Sunday that there were no more outages in Barrington. Sunday dawned with several dozen customers still without power and on indication when it might be restored.

Full restoration of power took about seven days after Hurricane Irene made landfall on Sunday morning, Aug. 28. Although the storm caused far less damage than anticipated, it knocked down scores of trees, which pulled down electrical wires all over town.
