Readers' Choice: Beach Top Play Area

appears to be the favorite outdoor spot among Patch readers. The unseasonably warm weather this week may have helped to rig the results.

About two out of three readers who voted in this week’s Readers’ Choice poll picked the beach. The poll asked: What is your favorite outdoor spot in Barrington? It was posted on the site from early Monday morning to Friday at 9 am.

Outdoor spots included in the poll along with the beach were all of Barrington’s parks and playgrounds, including and .

But none of the parks or playgrounds came even close to matching the beach in popularity among voters.

One Barrington playground did come in second in the voting. , behind the Town Hall and next to the Barrington library, got 15 percent of the votes. Maybe a few kids on their iPads voted for Kids Kove.
