'Red Church' Holding Block Party

Barrington's "Red Church" is throwing a party. And you’re invited.

It’s the St. John's Episcopal Church's first-ever block party next Saturday, June 2. It runs from 5 to 8 pm.

Everyone is welcome. It’s open to the community.

There will be dancing with music by The Rippers. Plenty of other activities as well, including relay races, volleyball, kickball, face painting, crafts and balloons.

Do you like to eat? There will be plenty of hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, popcorn, drinks and ice cream.

Admittance to the block party is free. There will be a charge for what you eat.

It’s a “green event” as well. Recycling will be expected. The church is located at 191 County Road across the street from the Barrington Shopping Plaza.
