Republicans Hosting 'Signature Party'

The Barrington Republican Town Committee hosts a “signature party” on Tuesday evening, July 10.

“From 7:30 to 8:30 pm in the Barrington Senior Center,” said Steve Primiano, chairman of the Republican Town Committee, “we will be collecting signatures for our Republican candidates’ nomination papers.”

All candidates must collect a minimum number of signatures to be placed on the ballot in the upcoming elections, Primiano said. 

“Any registered voter regardless of party affiliation can sign if they live in a candidate’s district,” he said.

“We will have forms available for our Republican candidates for Town Council, School Committee and state legislature,” Primiano said. “In addition, we are hoping to have forms for U.S. Senate candidate Barry Hinckley and U.S. House District 1 candidate Brendan Doherty.”
