School Committee to Hear 'District Report' on Test Scores
The Barrington School Committee's meeting tonight, April 4, is the annual 'District Report Night' session that paints a picture of student test scores compared to other districts.

The Barrington School Committee's meeting tonight should be pretty special. It usually is.
The meeting starts at 7:30 pm in the School Committee Meeting Room in Town Hall.
Tonight's meeting is "District Report Night." That's the annual look at how Barrington students have fared in the New England Common Assessment Program (NECAP), the SATs for college admissions, and the Advanced Placement (AP) tests.

Student scores also have been compared in the past couple of years to the top 25 public high schools in Massachusetts.
In short, the District Report is a comprehensive view of achievement test and other scores that wraps all the data into one night for the School Committee. The report usually paints a picture through the test scores of where the Barrington schools stand in comparison to other districts – and that picture is typically very pretty.
