Seems Like Summer at Beach

Another day of 80-degree temperatures in mid-April drew dozens of people to Barrington Beach on Tuesday afternoon. Yes, it certainly felt like beach weather.

Cars and trucks filled up many of the parking spaces; people lounged in beach chairs between the vehicles and on the sand or reclined on blankets and towels; a few kids braved 60-degree water temperatures to take, perhaps, their first dips in Narragansett Bay this year.

More normal spring temperatures are forecast for the rest of this week. For one more day at least, though, it did seem like summer at Barrington Beach.
