SLS, a wonderful place

SAINT LUKES SCHOOL, a new beginning... and a joy

As a proud parent and a retired educator, I am so very pleased to announce that my 4th grader has started at Saint Lukes School, in Barrington to complete the 4th grade. In a world of chaos and confusion and challenge, SLS is a vital and virtual academic paradise for children and parents. It sits there tucked away on one of the lesser traveled highways... and glows unto itself. Gorgeous to behold, the school (Preschool-8th grade) is staffed and managed by a group of helpful and caring professionals. The faculty is friendly and receptive. The students are polite and kind and courteous. I cannot express my true happiness with all that I have experienced at SLS thus far. They have made my son's transition from public school simply splendid...

Most of all, my son is delighted with his new school and classmates and continues to express it each day. He loves the uniforms, the schedule, the building.... he is simply delighted.

The school is multi-denominational with a clear expression of tolerance and compassion and civility. It's Principal of more than a decade, Maureen Jannetta, has groomed this wonderful organization with love and patience and many good choices and decisions. SLS Director of Institutional Advancement, Neil Kiely, is a straight talking, hard-working and thoughtful individual who helps the school from and for many directions and is an all-around great guy to work with.

Needless to say, I am very happy with our choice of Saint Lukes School as the place where our 9 year old will grow, prosper and learn and evolve. I'll keep you posted on his progress. Thank you SLS!!
