Spring Forward an Hour Tonight

Don't forget to move your clocks ahead one hour before you turn in tonight; it's time to save some daylight.

"Fall back, spring forward."

This old adage should remind you what to do before you turn in tonight.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) starts early Sunday morning, March 11. Remember to move your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed tonight.

Daylight Saving Time starts officially at 2 am on Sunday. Very few of us will be up at that hour to notice. We won't notice the change until Sunday evening when it will still be light out around 7 pm.

Of course, moving the clocks ahead means that all of us will lose an hour of sleep on one night in return for gaining an extra hour of daylight for the next seven months.
