Town Receives Grant To Hire Four New Firefighters
The Barrington Fire Department received a SAFER grant.
BARRINGTON, RI —The Barrington Fire Department received a SAFER grant. The grant will pay for one extra firefighter per shift. That means the Town can hire four new firefighters, the department said.
The BFD has been fortunate enough to receive a SAFER Grant to assist in funding 1 additional firefighter per shift for a total of 4 new FF's
