in We are Water, readers are given a “richly-layered exploration of a complicated family navigating dramatic changes in the present as it struggles to make sense of a thorny past,” the bookstore said in a release. “Epic in scope, yet intimate in its deep probing of its characters’ inner lives, Lamb’s latest work bears all of the hallmarks that have made his books—from She’s Come Undone to The Hour I First Believed—beloved contemporary classics.”
