4th Annual Blessing Of The Fleet At Bristol Harbor
The Bristol Harbor Festival & Blessing of the Fleet are set for Aug. 12.

BRISTOL, RI ā The fourth annual Blessing of the Fleet is set for 2 p.m. on Aug. 12 at Rockwell Park beside the Prudence Island ferry landing. According to organizers, the Harbor Festival follows. Money raised will finance the Maritime Center's family activities, plus two Save the Bay camp scholarships for local youngsters. The Bristol Harbormasterās Office and the local fishing community are teaming up, once again, to host the event, which includes live music, Stuffie Competitions (restaurant and home chef categories), and a first-class littleneck boil, caught by local fishermen.
There will be two seatings for the Littleneck Boil at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. There is also an option for a steak dinner in lieu of the Littleneck Boil. Tickets for the dinner sittings are $20.00 per person. Each ticket sold will include a free hot dog dinner for children. There will also be a cash raw bar as well as beer and wine. Tickets can be purchased at the Bristol Harbormasterās Office and through Festival Committee members in advance. Tickets will be available for purchase the day of the Festival, but in very limited quantity.
