BRISTOL, RI — A months-long narcotics investigation led to the seizure of cocaine and fentanyl and arrest of a Bristol man, police said.

Desouza was arrested following an "investigation stemming from previous investigations and arrests into the suspected narcotics activity taking place at the Mosaico Park," the release said.

The police obtained a warrant to search Desouza's home on Hope Street two blocks from Mosaico Park and found cocaine and fentanyl on his person and in the residence, according to the release.

"These charges are a result of a collaborative investigation with the Bristol Police Patrol and Detective divisions regarding Mr. Desouza's role in selling illegal narcotics in and around the Town of Bristol," the release said.
