BRISTOL, RI — Roger Williams University has named a new interim president.
"Roger Williams University welcomes Brian G. Williams, D.M., into his new position today as Interim President of the university," the university said in a media release.

"Williams brings over 30 years of experience in university administration and has spent the last decade at RWU serving in numerous capacities, including Vice President of Enrollment Management & Marketing, Chief of Staff, and senior executive partner to the university’s president," the release said.

“Brian Williams is a thoughtful and experienced leader who understands the mission and values of Roger Williams University,” Heather Boujoulian, the chair of the Roger Williams University Board of Trustees, said in the release.

“His steady leadership, strategic perspective, and dedication to students make him exceptionally well-positioned to guide the university during this important time,” Boujoulian said.
“I am honored to serve Roger Williams University at this pivotal moment,” Williams said in the release.
