Angelina Oliveira, 88, Retired Machine Operator

Angelina doCarmo (Cordeiro) Oliveira, of Bay View Avenue, Bristol, passed away on Oct. 14, 2013. She was 88.

She was the wife of the late Jose Oliveira. Born in Relva, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Joao Cordeiro Vijia and Rosalina (Botelho) Vijia.

She is survived by her children Joao C. Oliveira and his wife Genoveva, Maria Angelina Medeiros and her husband Jose; grandchildren Michael Oliveira, Deborah Carr, Jenifer Bento and Susy Blesity ; great grandchildren Kendra and Sarah Oliveira and Zachary and Emma Blesity; sisters Maria das Neves Ferreria and Alexandrina Constancia. She was the sister of the late Jose Cordeiro.

She was a machine operator for American Tourister for 10 years before retiring.

Her funeral services will be held on Friday Oct. 18 at 10 am from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., Bristol, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at St. Elizabeth Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bristol.
