AOL Begins Patch Layoffs

350 of the layoffs of approximately 500 total will occur immediately,  the rest to occur in coming months.

The company has finalized the number of sites it plans to close at 150, while it will look for partners for another 150, out of a total of 900 sites now operated, the person said.
