Four Applicants for Bristol BCWA Board of Directors Position
Bristol Director position for BCWA has four applicants.
As a result of the Bristol Town council opening up the application process to all Bristol residents for the position of Director (which became available on February 29th), we have four residents who have applied.
Previously, the way to be appointed to this position was to be referred by the Republican or Democrat Town Chairperson. By removing this restriction, and the political aspect, it has encouraged more people to step up and volunteer. We commend the Bristol Town Council for making this change, and for advertising this position. We also commend councilman Tony Teixeira for bringing this issue up at the last council meeting and making these suggestions.
The applicants are Frank Sylvia - 78 High Street (for re-appointment), Richard Botelho - 14 Sefton Drive, Juan Mariscal - 1303 Hope Street, and Camille Dale - 66 Collins Street.

There will be a motion made at the April 4th Bristol Town Council meeting to set interviews at a future date since there is more than one applicant.
Good luck to all and may the best candidate win!
