Great site for Avid Readers!!

If you are an ardent reader I have a great site for you!  I learned of this site through Kristen at the Rogers Free Library.  (Thank you Kristen!!)

goodreads.com  is an amazing resourse!  After you become a member you will be prompted to rate the books that you have read. As you do this you will be shown other books that are similar in content, period, etc.  You can mark them as books you want to read, or "not interested".  The more info you provide, the more accurate the recommendations become.  It's terrific! The number of genres is impressive and there is certainly something for everyone.

It's also a great way to keep track of the books you have read.  Many of us keep lists, but this is much easier.

If you choose to, you can also invite friends to share comments.

As someone who reads at least 3 books a week, and is always on the lookout for a new "read"..  I absolutely love this!

Whether you purchase hard cover books, borrow from the library, or purchase e-books, you will find this site to be an asset!
