Put Warren Council Candidates To the Test Oct. 18

Details of forum for candidates for Warren Town Council.

The Rhode Island Voter Coalition will be holding a forum for the candidates for Warren Town Council on Oct. 18.

The forum will be held upstairs at Warren Town Hall, 514 Main St., Warren, at 6:30 p.m. The Rhode Island Voter Coalition is a non-partisan, open, fact-seeking civil engagement group designed for the sole purpose of getting people involved in their government through an individual examination of their representation. We are not a fundraising tool nor do we offer endorsement.

The event will allow the voters to directly pose questions to the candidates and educate them on the issues that are important to them. We not only believe that this will allow voters to choose the candidate that truly represents them, but also will hold some accountability to the promises given to the people by these representatives. This event is FREE and open to the public.

This is an opportunity for you the voter to meet face-to-face with the candidates and ask the questions that are important to you. Candidates will be given the opportunity to make a brief platform statement and then all of the questions will come from the audience.

The forum will be filmed and shown on Public Access Television.

We hope to see you there!
