Supreme Court Decision on Obamacare is in. Mandate is upheld.

Asking for input on the Supreme Court decision that Obamacare is a tax, and therefore justified.

The Supreme Court voted 5-4 to uphold Obamacare with Justice Roberts being the swing vote.  It must be noted that the Administration reversed their claim that this was a Commerce Clause issue, and argued that it was a tax.  Chief Justice John Roberts said the requirement that individuals have health coverage or pay a penalty — known as the individual mandate — is within Congress' power to impose taxes.

The President has gone on record countless times insisting that he would NOT raise taxes on those making under $250,000 per year.

I repeat, this was argued as a tax.
