Town Administrator, Rep. Candidates Forum in Bristol Oct. 27

The Rhode Island Voter Coalition will be holding a forum for the candidates for Bristol Town Administrator, Representative for District 67, and Representative for District 68 on Saturday, Oct. 27.

This forum will be held at the Rogers Free Library, Herreshoff Room, 525 Hope St. in Bristol and will start at 10:30 a.m.

Rhode Island Voter Coalition (RIVC) is a non-partisan, open, fact-seeking, civil engagement group designed for the sole purpose of getting people involved in their government through an individual examination of their representation. We are not a fundraising tool nor do we offer endorsement. This event will allow the voters to directly pose questions to the candidates and educate them on the issues that are important to them. We not only believe that this will allow voters to choose the candidate that truly represents them, but also will hold some accountability to the promises given to the people by these representatives. This event is FREE and open to the public.

This is an opportunity for YOU the voter to meet face-to-face with the candidates and ask the questions that are important to you. Candidates will be given the opportunity to make a brief platform statement and then all of the questions will come from the audience, Town Hall style. Feel free to add your question to the comments section below.

The forum will be filmed and shown on Public Access Television.
