Upcoming Fourth of July Committee Fund Raising Events
The Bristol 4th of July Committee Fund Raiser Events are picking up with the 50's Dance, Cultural Night and Card Party coming up soon. Join in the fun

On Saturday, April 28th, the Fourth of July Committee will hold its "Lost in the 50's"Dance” at the Bristol Train of Artillery, 135 State Street, Bristol from 7 PM to
11 PM. Dance to your favorite 50's music and participate in the hula-hoop and trivia contests. See who is wearing the best 50's outfit. Music will be provided by DJ Rick Roderick Jr. Light food and cash bar. For tickets please call Nancy Pimental at 396-9323/Donna Marshall at 253-7215. $15.00 per person
On Friday, May 4th, the Fourth of July Committee will hold its annual Cultural Night in the Barn at from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. This year it is “Art for All Ages” with artist exhibits. Some of the items will be available for purchase. Paintings donated by local artists will be auctioned by the 2011 Chief Marshal Joe Brito. The Pokanoket Tribe will perform an American Indian tribal dance at 7:30. Members of the Guitar Ensemble will perform. There will be
refreshments and door prizes. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling
Jeanne at 253-6113. Artists interested in exhibiting their work should call Jeanne for entry details.
On Monday, May 7th, the Fourth of July Committee will hold their Annual Card Party at 7:00 PM in the Auditorium of on Wood Street in Bristol. Admission is $8.00 per person. Join us for an evening of fun as you play cards or you favorite board game with family and friends. Refreshments will be served. There are three different raffle events with hundreds of prizes. When you first arrive purchase candy bars that have three raffle tickets attached. Since there are never enough candy bars you can purchase just tickets for the second raffle and finally your admission ticket includes you in the door prize raffle. Call Madeline
