Bristol Police Holding Pet Supply Drive For K9's First Christmas

K9 Brody garnered national attention earlier this year after he fell asleep on the chief's desk during his swearing-in ceremony.

BRISTOL, RI — This Christmas, the Bristol Police Department is celebrating a very special milestone: K9 Brody's first holiday season. In his honor, the department is collecting pet supplies for local animal shelters.

Brody garnered national attention in April, when the chocolate Labrador puppy adorably dozed off on the chief's desk during his swearing-in ceremony.

Donations of pets supplies and treats can be dropped off in the main lobby of the police station through Dec. 21, and a donation drop box will be available until Christmas Day. All donated items will be distributed to local animal shelters.
