Bristol Police Looking To Hire Dispatcher

BRISTOL, RI — The Bristol Police Department is looking to hire a new dispatcher. Both part-time and full-time positions are available. Applications will be accepted until Dec. 30.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must be 18 years of age on or before appointment
• Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• Must pass an comprehensive background investigation, oral interviews, drug screening and a medical exam before appointment
• Must be willing and available to various shifts and hours

Applications are available at the Bristol Police Department or online. Completed applications must be dropped off, in person, to the department by 3 p.m. on Dec. 30. Previous applicants must re-apply to be considered.
