Earlier this year, the advocacy nonprofit released a five-year strategic plan to guide Grow Smart RI’s work as it relates to economic development, urban revitalization, expanded transportation options, and the state’s food system. Hartley is one of 35 board members who will work alongside Grow Smart RI staff to carry out the action plan.
“With enough supporters rowing in the same direction, this five-year strategic plan can ensure that our policy advocacy, training, and government watchdogging make a big and positive difference in Rhode Island’s future,” said Grow Smart RI’s executive director Scott Wolf. “We invite Rhode Islanders to explore where we’re headed and how we plan to get there, and then to join us in our effort to make Rhode Island a more vibrant and opportunity rich state.”
