Candidates: Get Campaign Statements, Op-Eds, on the Patch

If you’re running for local or statewide office in a Patch town, we’ll happily post op eds and opinion pieces sent to us.

There are two ways to get your campaign materials on the Patch. You can post it yourself by clicking “contribute to Patch” and following the steps. Once your post is up, email editor Mark Schieldrop the link at mark.schieldrop@patch.com and it can get bumped to the front page.

Or, send your statements to mark.schieldrop@patch.com in the body of the e-mail message. Please include a phone number for confirmation purposes. We will get them posted as quickly as possible.

With the Sept. primary right around the corner.

Though we have no specific limits to how frequently we will publish candidate submissions, try to limit them to once or twice per week.
