Community String Project Participates in #GivingTuesday

Non-profit sets $3000 goal for #GivingTuesday.

Community String Project, a participating organization with GivingTuesday, is reaching out to the community this December 3rd to help them raise $3000. Started in 2012, GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that has designated the Tuesday after Thanksgiving as a “day of giving.” It has grown to be a day that encourages people to do good and remember what the holiday season is – a time of giving.

CSP, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization now in its 11th year, relies on donations to provide affordable and accessible string instrument lessons to the youth and adults of the East Bay area. Donations are gratefully accepted on CSP’s Facebook page, facebook.com/communitystringproject, or on the #GivingTuesday page at communitystringproject.org.

For more information about the Community String Project, please call Executive Director, Alan Bernstein, at 401-500-1243.
