East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is pleased to announce the promotion of Aida Cabral of Bristol, RI to Vice President of Health Center Operations.

Cabral began her career at EBCAP as a bi-lingual (Portuguese) Medical Assistant/Patient Assistance Program Coordinator in 2007 and was quickly promoted to Medical/Dental Office Manager in 2008. As EBCAP developed and implemented electronic medical records, she was instrumental in analyzing and streamlining systems, encompassing all facets of record keeping and data reporting, and working with the Information Technology Department to tailor the system to the various needs of clinical and administrative departments, earning the status of “Super User” by the electronic medical records vendor.

In 2016 Cabral was promoted to the position of Director of Health Center Operations to manage the administrative staffs of multiple locations and disciplines.

Before joining EBCAP, Cabral worked as a Medical Office Supervisor and was a business owner.
