Electronic Recycling At the Mount Hope Farmers Market!

Indie Cycle will be at Mount Hope Farm (250 Metacom Ave, Bristol) this Sat, Sept 26th, 9am-1pm, collecting your old electronic waste!

Indie Cycle is a family business based in Charlestown, RI with a mission to recycle unwanted electronics responsibly, and to educate and encourage more people to recycle.

Indie Cycle will accept electronic items in any quantity, shape, size, age or condition. (Unfortunately, due to recent changes in the Rhode Island e-recycling landscape, Indie Cycle, LLC is no longer able to accept Tube TVs, Monitors and Printer/Copiers for free--they must now charge a $10 disposal fee for these items, in addition to freon-containing appliances.)

All other items, such as computers, laptops, flat screens, wires, and other household electronics will still be accepted at no charge. They take cellphones, cables, plugs, cords, alkaline, auto/marine & rechargeable batteries, audio/visual equipment, stereos, remote controls, shredders, power tools, kitchen appliances--anything with a wire! They will also accept air conditioners, dehumidifiers, small refrigerators and freezers as long as they are not actively leaking.

Here is a full list of what they accept, and which items have a disposal fee.
