Annual Race for Grace

This race supports all those with Friedreich's Ataxia, a rare, debilitating neuromuscular disease that candeventually, can be fatal at a young age.  This race was started by Patrick and Katie Hopkins, whose young cousin grace was a victimof this disease. Last year their efforts (a race and concert at Gillary's) raised $10,000 toward research, which can alsoassist other diseases that share common mechanisms such as ALS, Parkinson's, Huntington's and Alzheimer's.
