The local round of competition for the 39th Annual Elks Hoop Shoot is today, for Barrington, Warren and Bristol girls and boys ages 8-13. Sponsored by the Bristol County Elks Lodge #1860, the competition is free and registration starts at 12:30, with the event beginning at 1 pm. Everyone who enters will receive a basketball, t-shirt and gift; local winners head to the District competition in Newport in January.
