The public is invited to the second of the 2012 "Fireside Lectures" series at Mount Hope Farm. Tonight's lecture is "Out to Pasture: The History of RI Dairy Farms," with Rick Greenwood, Deputy Director of the RI Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission. He will explain how RI's farm families have been adapting dairy for more than 370 years and what that tells us about our attitudes about food, our environment and ourselves.
