Today is the 55th Anniversary of the Founding of Roger Williams University, and several events are planned, including a Noontime Proclamation read by Town Council Chairman Ken Marshall and Administrator Diane Mederos; also at 4 pm, a recounting of the history of RWU and its famous founder.
