 Mosaico CDC is offering a workshop, at the Bristol Statehouse, formerly the Bristol Courthouse, located at 240 High Street on October 26th from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

 This workshop is open to all residents of Bristol and Warren.

 The workshop, Using Social Media To Help You Find A Job, will be facilitated by Steven Porter of JOBSINRI.COM.  Steve uses his expertise in marketing and advertising to educate job seekers on how to use the internet more effectively to find the best jobs.

The class includes an introduction to the world of social media and how it is revolutionizing how people find jobs and employers find candidates.

The workshop focuses on the three most popular social media websites – LinkedIn, FaceBook and Twitter and covers resume posting, blogging and building a personal brand. It is perfect for both the veteran and novice job seeker alike.

 Mosaico connects low to moderate income residents of the Towns of Bristol and Warren with employers, community based organizations, state agencies, career centers and educational institutions to develop a qualified workforce.
