Funds raised with the “Get Off Your CAN  - Do the 5K Run/Walk to End Hunger!” event will be used to support the work of the East Bay Food Pantry located at 150 Franklin Street in Bristol.  EBFP’s current efforts include expanding healthy food options for clients and their children as part of the Access Nutrition Initiative.  EBFP helps clients increase their understanding of good nutrition and support their use of healthy foods with an array of recipes and food tastings.  And new this summer, our Food4Kids program will provide weekly food for children who receive free/reduced breakfast and lunch at school during the academic year.  All of us at EBFP are energized by the positive impact these programs are making in the lives of some of the most vulnerable RI children and their families.

Located in Bristol, on the corner of Franklin and Wood, below Franklin Court Independent Living, the East Bay Food Pantry, Inc. is a 501c (3) non-profit organization, offering a client-choice food pantry and a low-cost thrift shop.
