Lawrenc Verria, the author of "The Kissing Sailor", will speak about the research that went into the book to determine the identities of the sailor and the nurse in the picture celebrating the end of WW II in Times Square in NYC. The picture, which was on the cover of Life magazine, captured the wonderful moment when the end of war was announced.
