Renowned marine scientist and author Ellen Prager, Ph.D will speak at Roger Williams University. A reception and book signing will follow the event. A well-respected earth and ocean science expert who served as chief scientist for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Aquarius Reef Base in Key Largo, F.L., Dr. Prager will speak on her latest book "Sex, Drugs, and Sea Slime: The Oceans Oddest Creatures and Why They Matter. " The evening is sponsored by Microsoft Research and hosted by the University’s Center for Economic and Environmental Development. The event is free and open to the public.
