Mt. Hope High School's Huskies host the Barrington Eagles for the annual Thanksgiving Day Football Game, starting at 10 a.m. at Mt. Hope High School, Bristol. This is the 18th match-up between the two schools, a series which began in 1993 with the merger of Bristol and Warren schools and the creation of Mt. Hope High School at the former Bristol High School. Barrington has won 10 of the games in this series; Mt. Hope, 7. This particular Turkey Day rivalry goes back much further than that, though. Barrington and Bristol's high schools had played each other for years.
