Can't make it to Paris this spring? Boston garden designer and consultant Maureen Bovet will transport you from Blithewold's Living Room to the most prized gardens in Paris. Drawing on her experience as a tour guide for the Paris Garden Guild (2001-2004), Bovet will take you from well-known historic parks - Luxembourg, Parc Monceau, Jardin des Plantes, Medieval Garden of Cluny Museum, and Parc des Buttes-Chaumont -- to exciting new Paris gardens, such as Parc de Bercy, Promenade Plantée and André Citroën.
Maureen Bovet will bring to life her days exploring these fabulous outdoor living spaces, much like Blithewold's own Marjorie Van Wickle did on her many trips to Paris. As a special treat, there will be a display of some of Marjorie's Paris-inspired watercolor paintings.
The "evening in Paris" is completed with French wine and cheese.
