"Warren" by Lane Poor

You Are Invited to the new Main Street Gallery Show "Warren" by Lane Poor, opening this Thursday, July 26th from 5-9 pm.

A highly respected local photographer, artist and physicist, Lane is a 25 year resident who has been chronicling, from the “North Kicky" to the top of Town Hall, a small photo history of the Town of Warren. Along the way he has also captured many "nature" photographs, those that remind us we live and work in a world amidst scenes of wonderful beauty. "We are surrounded by them." A beautiful egret in a Juniper right next to the Waterview dam, a blue dragon fly from the little "pond" just south of the Kicky earthen dam, and Breuly's  calf, titled "Peek A Moo".

In addition, due to the overwhelming success on June’s ArtNight when the gallery unveiled the new  Kid’s Corner Gallery, Main Street Gallery will be repeating the Free Coloring Book Pages, made from favorite family photos, camera chip, thumb drive, smart phone or tablet.  Free for all kids of all ages.

"Main Street" is a fun and elegant, small gallery located at 504 Main Street in Warren RI.  The walls are filled with views of our local towns, primarily pictures that catch time and, beautiful images that can so easily be seen surrounding us.
