National Poetry Month is celebrated at RWU in April. Up-and-coming writer Nathaniel Perry will read excerpts from his 52-poem collection, “Nine Acres” The editor of the Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review, Perry is the winner of the prestigious 2011 American Poetry Review/Honickman
First Book Prize. He teaches creative writing at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia.
The community is invited; this event takes place in the Mary Tefft White Cultural Center in the main library.
