Final Report of the Providence County Grand Jury: AG
An indictment was reported out against a Bristol suspect.

BRISTOL, RI — Raymond Correia, 34, of Bristol, has been indicted by the Providence County Grand Jury, according to the state Attorney General's office. He is facing multiple charges. They include one count of first degree sexual assault, one count of first degree robbery, one count of assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of possession of a firearm while having been previously convicted of a crime of violence, and one count of procurement of sexual activity for a fee.
"An indictment, information, or complaint is merely an allegation," the Attorney General's office said. "The U.S. Constitution guarantees that a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law."
The allegations are on or about Oct. 16 in Bristol, he robbed and assaulted a woman and sexually assaulted her, using a gun. "It is further alleged that Correia procured sexual conduct from the female for the payment of a fee," the Attorney General's office said.

He is scheduled for an arraignment on July 14 in Providence Superior Court.
