Dr. Jaffe feels that it is very important for the private sector to step in and help provide the resources that our schools need. “I have made support of public education a priority because educating our children is of the utmost importance to the future of our community."

Dr. Cathleen Whelan of Medical Associates of Rhode Island has similar thoughts about supporting BWEF. “Since we are in the business of serving the community, we saw this as a great cause,” said Dr. Whelan of the decision to sponsor the event. “The best part of the night is watching so many people gathered together for a common purpose, many dressed ridiculously, laughing at themselves and each other in fierce but always friendly competition.”
