Former Bristol Cop Charged With Breaking and Entering

A former Bristol police officer was arrested for allegedly breaking into an apartment and stealing prescription drugs, police said.

Spencer Parks, 27, of Warren, was arrested after an investigation that included a video recording of Parks reportedly entering the apartment.

Parks was released on personal recognizance after being arraigned on March 28 on a charge of breaking and entering, a felony, and a misdemeanor charge of larceny, according to court records.

He is due to return to Sixth Division District Court on June 4 for a prearraignment disposition conference.
