Former Students React to News of Fatima High School Closing
Alumni disappointed that the school plans to close in June.

Fatima High School alumni say they're disappointed to hear that their Alma mater plans to shut down at the end of the 2011-2012 academic year.
After 630WPRO reported that the Warren private school planned to shut its doors for good this summer, dozens of alumni used Facebook as an outlet to share their sadness and school memories.
Evan Securo, Fatima High School Class of 2005 said he was very sad to hear the news.

"It's so hard to believe a school that was thriving both academically and athletically only seven or so years ago when I attended is now closing," he said. "It's very sad."
Gina Catalano shared the news with her friends on Facebook stating that hearing of the news made it a very sad day for her. A friend and former classmate of Catalano commented on the post saying, "NOOOOOOOO! How sad. I have always been so proud to b a Fatima girl."

Our Lady of Fatima High School, a Catholic private school located on Market Street in Warren, was founded in 1965 and has served Rhode Island students grades 6 through 12.
