Going to Elementary School? Here's Your School Supply Checklist

We know that back to school shopping can be stressful and expensive, especially if you have children in different schools and grade levels. To make things a bit easier, we have compiled the lists from the schools in Bristol and Warren to provide you with a one-stop location to make your back-to-school shopping a breeze.

In addition to the specified supplies for each grade, students are also asked to have supplies for the art room and library. For the art room, students should have Ticonderoga #2 pencils (no substitutions), 1 black Sharpie, and one large glue stick in a sealed bag labeled "Art Supplies". The school is also looking for facial tissue and cleaning wipe donations for the art room.

For the library, items needed include kleenex, highlighters, post-its, pencils, handi-wipes, ziploc bags, markers, scrap book supplies and glitter. 

Kindergarten

• 1 pkg. of glue sticks
• 1 box of crayons (8, 12 or 24 count)
• 1 pkg. of washable markers
• Zip-Lock  bag (labeled)

1st Grade

• 1 pkg. no. 2 pencils (sharpened)
• 1 pkg. end cap erasers
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 1 pkg. (2) glue sticks
• 1 black and white marbled composition notebook
• 1 highlighter
• 1 pkg. washable markers
• Box of tissues
• Disinfectant wipes

2nd Grade

• 1 (2-pocket) homework folder (any color or design)
• 1 (2-pocket) green folder (preferably plastic or laminated)
• 1 (2-pocket) blue folder (preferably plastic or laminated)
• 1 hard cover composition notebook (any color or design)
• 1 package of dry erase markers
• 1 (dry erase) eraser
• 1 or more highlighters
• Pencils
• 1 pencil case/pouch
• Crayons OR colored pencils OR markers

3rd Grade

• 2 marble composition notebooks
• 3 spiral notebooks (70 pages)
• 5 pocket folders ~ blue, green, yellow, purple, orange ~ color coded for various subjects.
• Scissors, Glue Sticks and Highlighters
• 2 pkgs. Of 3”x5” index cards
• Pencils (sharpened), pens (2) and an eraser
• Post-it Notes
• Crayons and colored pencils
• Small hand held pencil sharpener

*Please send in facial tissues and sanitizer wipes throughout the year

4th Grade

• 2 yellow highlighters
• 2 heavy duty double pocket folders
• 4 packs of post-it notes (any color)
• Markers and colored pencils in a large, labeled zip-lock bag
• Scissors
• Small student dictionary
• 1 dozen sharpened pencils
• 1 one inch binder (pockets on inside cover)—larger binders will not fit in desk
• White out (liquid)
• Box of tissues is always a welcome supply during any time of the year.

5th Grade

• 1 USB Flash Drive
• 2  one subject spiral bound notebooks (at least 80 pages)
• 9 pocket folders
• Pencils (sharpened), a hand held pencil sharpener and cap erasers
• Highlighters
• Post it/Sticky notes
• 2 one inch 3 ring binders with loose leaf paper (larger binders will not fit in desk)
• Box of tissues
• Container of disinfectant wipes
• Optional one inch 3 ring binder for agenda and homework folder

(Note: Students in every grade at Guiteras are asked to get two boxes of kleenex for school)

Kindergarten
