Going to High School or Middle School? Here's Your School Supply Checklist

We know that back to school shopping can be stressful and expensive, especially if you have children in different schools and grade levels. To make things a bit easier, we compiled the lists from the schools in Bristol and Warren to provide you with a one-stop location to make your back-to-school shopping a breeze.

Teachers will hand out a syllabus on the first day of school outlining the specific supplies that high school students require for class. However, it's safe to say that basics such as pens, pencils, book covers, three-ring binders and multi-subject notebooks with pockets are required for many classes. 

The following supplies are required for each grade, for each core class. A list of more specific supplies will be released to students after school starts. 

6th Grade 

• Black and blue pens
• Tissues
• Colored pencils
• Regular pencils
• Hand held pencil sharpener
• Highlighters
• 1 Composition notebook for each core subject (LA, Math, SS, Science)

7th Grade

• One 3-subject notebook and
• One sturdy 2-pocket folder
• 1 pkg. colored pencils
• Blue/black pens
• Pencils
• Red pens
• Hi-lighters
• One box of tissues
• Recommended small pencil sharpener

8th Grade

• One 3-ring binder with blank paper for notes and dividers for handouts
• Blue or black pens
• Pencils
• Hi-lighters
• Tissues
• Recommended small pencil sharpener
